New to xAPI? Or looking to experiment with xAPI in new ways but don’t know where to start?
No matter your xAPI skill level, the xAPI Cohort is the perfect place for those looking to build the skills needed to leverage the power of Experience API! The Cohort is a 12-week, learning-by-doing program that allows you to attend 12 weekly sessions, create real-life projects, and access resources that’ll help you fast-track your xAPI abilities!

I’m in—how do I get started?
Well first, sign up for free! Once you do that, you’ll gain access to the Cohort’s Slack channel, where participants are able form teams based on shared interests. You will work with your team members (or by yourself if that’s more your style) on a real-world xAPI project. Each semester builds off the previous semester, so you can pick up on a pre-existing project or start something from scratch.
What’s the schedule like?
The xAPI Cohort hosts two annual semesters: one in the spring and one in the fall. Each semester is comprised of weekly meetings on Thursdays at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. Each team is able to build its own schedule for working on team projects. At the end of each semester, there is an xAPI Party (in-person and virtual) where Cohort teams present their work, along with other presentation topics.
When’s the next semester?
September 1 through November 17, 2022. The xAPI Party will be hosted both in-person and virtually on December 1, 2022. Click here to save your spot for the Fall Semester!
