For the past 18 years, DevLearn has been the event for learning professionals looking to shape the future of learning and development. This year’s focus will be no different. However after careful consideration we have decided to move DevLearn online and shift to the DevLearn Digital Experience (DDX), a two-week virtual event that you can attend from the safety and comfort of your home office.

This new way to DevLearn will be a two-week online event encompassing everything attendees love about DevLearn. Registering for DDX will get you access to innovative sessions, a leading-edge Virtual Expo, endless networking opportunities with other virtual attendees, and more brought together on one platform!

128 live sessions

DDX will host 128 live online sessions featuring industry leaders who will share their inspiring stories, practical strategies, and the latest technologies you need to propel your knowledge and expertise moving forward. All livestreams will be recorded and made available to attendees who were not able to attend the live sessions.

“This year’s program, like every Devlearn, is forward leaning but was also designed with today’s more immediate needs in mind. Learning today requires a great deal of flexibility,” says Mark Britz, senior manager, programs.

Here is a look at the eight tracks this year’s program will explore:

  • Management & Strategy
  • Instructional Design
  • Video & Media
  • Tools & Development
  • Augmented & Virtual Reality
  • Data & Measurement
  • Games & Gamification
  • Emerging Tech

50+ recorded on-demand sessions

Miss the first couple minutes of a session? Need to leave early? No problem! DDX will feature 50+ recorded sessions that you can rewind, pause, and play so you can learn at your own pace. All sessions will be available on-demand and are hand-selected to support your needs.

Non-stop networking

Although the in-person conference is unable to happen, that does not mean you have to miss all the networking opportunities offered at this year’s DevLearn! The DDX platform is structured to allow you to chat, share, and learn with others in the community. Even more, the DevLearn team is planning after-hour networking opportunities so you can extend your social experience beyond the computer screen.

Digital DemoFest

DemoFest has always been an attendee-favorite activity that allows attendees to explore real-world projects in action. This year’s DevLearn DemoFest is taking on a new form: an exciting, digital format as part of DDX. This is your chance to get inspired by a wide range of technology-based learning projects created by your industry peers. Check back soon to explore which projects will be featured!

Extend your experience

Every year, DevLearn provides learning professionals with new insight, strategies, and tools that they can integrate into their work. This year, attendees will be able to revisit the DevLearn experience with complete access to the DDX platform for 6 months post-event. This will give you the ability to reinforce all that you learned to further your professional development after the event takes place.

We hope you can join us this fall as we continue shaping what’s next for the learning and development industry!

(P.S. Members of The Learning Guild will also receive an extra $100 off their DDX registration. Not a member? Sign up today—it’s free!)
